What to keep on your schedule:

St. Thomas of Villanova Day of Service – this is an outstanding opportunity to work together and spend a day serving the community around us. The event is Saturday, September 27th. Make sure to sign up here! Search for “Graduate Theology Students” under the group list. You can find more info about the day here. Family and significant others are also welcome to participate. Breakfast, lunch and t-shirts provided! TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO SIGN UP!!!

Come see the Hermeneut-Megs soccer team play their first game at 7 pm in the Stadium!

Follow it up with Theology on Tap at 8 pm at Bryn Mawr Beef and Ale! Theology on Tap is a speaker series designed for young people in their 20s and 30s to meet other young adults and explore topics of faith in a relaxed, social environment. Free food is provided with drink specials available.  Come join us for a fun time! Dr. Toton will be discussing “Why Does Liberation Theology Get Such a Bum Rap?”

Centering prayer 12:30-1 – St. Rita Community Room in Campus Ministry

Graduate Student Monthly Mass – come join your fellow graduate students in celebrating Mass together at the 5:30 Mass in Corr Chapel.

Thursday, Sept. 18th

Friday, Sept. 19th

Latin Lunches will take place on Fridays after noon Mass in the lounge. Rookie or scholar, it matters not. Contact Eric at edemeuse@villanova.edu with questions.

Saturday, Sept. 20th

Abbeyfest – A day of music and prayer held at Daylesford Abbey in Paoli designed particularly for young adults on from 10 am – 9 pm.  Acts will include Matt Maher and Audrey Assad, among many others! It’s focus is to celebrate the beauty of faith in support of the New Evangelization by means of Mass, prayer, confessions, Adoration and music.  Transportation from Villanova will be provided.
