The Office for Mission and Ministry hosts Deborah Jackson-Taffa in celebration of Native American Heritage Month. Ms. Taffa will deliver a talk entitled “An Inheritance of Ecological Urgency: Challenges and Complexities for the Modern Native American Activist and Writer” in Driscoll Auditorium at 4:30pm on Monday, November 5th.

Augustinian Heritage Month Lecture: David Steinmetz delivers a lecture entitled “Reinterpreting Tradition: St. Augustine Among the Early Protestants.” Falvey Library Cafe, 7:30pm. This talk is part of the Office for Mission and Ministry’s celebration of Augustinian Heritage Month.

Fr. Joseph Genito presents “St. Rita of Cascia and the Augustinian Tradition” in Driscoll Hall Auditorium at 4:30pm. This talk is part of the Office for Mission and Ministry’s Celebration of Augustinian Heritage month.
GTSC Fall Film Series: “Get Low” (Corr Hall, Room 103, 7:30 PM)
In this month’s film, Felix Bush (Robert Duvall), a hermit who has removed himself from all societal contact, hires Frank Quinn (Bill Murray), to throw him a “funeral party” wherein locals are invited to share their opinions about his character. As excitement gathers amongst the townsfolk, it is revealed that Felix aims to make a public confession about his mysterious past and way of life. Based on a true story.
Fr. Joe Farrell presents at Theology Un-Tapped “St. Augustine of Hippo: Patron Saint of Brewers and so Much More!” in Cafe Nova, 9pm. This is part of the Office for Mission and Ministry’s Celebration of Augustinian Heritage month. (Please note: there will be no alcohol at this event, since undergrads will be present.)

Sean McElwee comes to speak at Catholic Young Adults of Chester County! Fellow graduate student Sean will discuss sacred music in the Catholic tradition on November 14th (note date change).
