All Saints Day is one of the most joyous feasts in the Catholic calendar, celebrating all of the holy men and women of God who have gone before us to Heaven!  All Saints Day is a Solemnity and Holy Day of Obligation for Catholics- several Mass times are available throughout the day on campus.

Friday, November 2nd- Feast of All Souls!

The Feast of All Souls is a beautiful day in the Catholic tradition, in which we pray for the happy repose of all of those who have gone before us.  On this day the Church carries on the tradition that all humans on earth, in Purgatory, and in Heaven are connected to each other and should pray for the salvation of all the world.  (Confused?  Learn more here.)

The Office for Mission and Ministry hosts Deborah Jackson-Taffa in celebration of Native American Heritage Month. Ms. Taffa will deliver a talk entitled “An Inheritance of Ecological Urgency: Challenges and Complexities for the Modern Native American Activist and Writer” in Driscoll Auditorium at 4:30pm on Monday, November 5th.

Sean McElwee comes to speak at Catholic Young Adults of Chester County!  Fellow graduate student Sean will discuss sacred music in the Catholic tradition on November 14th (note date change).
